Week 1: INTERVIEW

For this class exercise, I interviewed several friends using a camcorder paired with the Rode Wireless ME Dual Compact Wireless Microphone System. The goal was to evaluate how effective an external microphone is in improving audio quality during interviews and filming, compared to relying solely on the camera’s built-in microphone. I chose to approach this exercise a bit differently, rather than comparing multiple recording devices as I did in the Week 4 sound exercise, I focused on creating something more playful and creative. I wanted the footage to have a nostalgic, home-video feel, using the camcorder to capture candid moments and experimenting with editing to enhance that vibe.
